A contract of a sale of goods act is a contract under which the seller transfers or agrees to transfer the property in goods to the buyer for a price. when the property in the goods is transferred from the seller to the buyer , the contract is called a sale.

'Document of title to goods' includes bill of lading, dock warrant , warehouse keepers certificate wharfingers ' certificate , railway receipt multimodal transport document.

Future Goods means goods to be manufactured or produced or acquired by the seller after making of the contract of sale.

specific goods' means goods identified and agreed upon at the time a contract of a sale is made.

Mercantile agent' means an agent having authority either to sell goods , or to consign goods for the purpose of sale, or to buy goods, or to raise money on the security of goods.

Agreement to Sell : When the transfer of the property in the goods is to take place at a future time or subject to some condition , thereafter to be fulfilled , the contract is called an agreement to sell.
